JOHN SCOTT PARK

Public BBQ

John Scott Park is a compact but feature-packed park at the heart of Samford Village. The park offers free public gas barbecues with at least two sheltered BBQ areas, making it easy to enjoy a meal outdoors. Facilities include a heavily shaded playground with play zones suited to different ages, a sealed BMX bike track, a basketball court, and open grass areas for kicking a ball around. Large trees provide dappled shade across the park. The playground features a high rope bridge and train-themed equipment that keeps kids engaged. Five toilets are available, including a large wheelchair-accessible cubicle with baby change facilities. A perimeter footpath works well for bikes and walking. Parking is straightforward, and cafes sit across the road for a coffee run. Everything is neat and well maintained.
